The HNLMS De Ruyter is a stunning scale model of the iconic Royal Netherlands Navy cruiser. This highly detailed miniature showcases certain aspects at 1/1800th scale, creating an astonishing visual effect. Built for the Royal Netherlands Navy just before the onset of World War II, this magnificent ship met its untimely fate at the hands of a Japanese torpedo during the pivotal Battle of Java Sea. The HNLMS De Ruyter proudly bore seven powerful six-inch guns and an array of advanced antiaircraft armament.
