Dustshoe for a clean CNC-machine ( milling dust preventer )
thingiverse
Hi folks, This device has been in use for a few years now. At that time, 3D-printers were not as common, so tolerances, such as drawing holes larger, were not taken into account when creating these drawings! My Dustshoe is milled. If you want to 3D-print this thing, please apply the XY-Correction on your slicer to my STLs or use the Stepfiles to correct the Holes for your 3D-printer. I used M6x16 screws that were reduced in diameter down to 4mm under the head. They are secured with M6 grub screws. If you want to secure them with locktight, use M6x20 instead. A small spring-loaded ball in a shell (sorry, I don't know the English name for it) is used to keep the shoe in a closed state. For 3D-printing when using inserted nuts, please use the Stepfiles and integrate that there. Since I changed my CAD-system since building this thing, I'm unable to modify the origin files myself. I use the Stepfiles too.
