Dustpan, quick-print as thinwall vase
thingiverse
This is a compact dustpan (140mm wide) that I designed specifically for my toddler because the standard-sized dustpan was too large for her to handle effectively. It also serves as an ideal scooper for clearing clutter from my workbench, including tiny bits of plastic, wire insulation, and solder beads that tend to accumulate over time. The design prints rapidly in a "thinwall vase" or similar mode. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: MakerFarm i3v 12 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 0% Notes: Use "thinwall vase" mode or equivalent settings in your software to create a single perimeter that spirals upward with no infill. A 1mm perimeter extrusion width is recommended, as the sidewalls are 2mm thick. I used five solid bottom layers at 0.2mm layer height, as the floor of the pan is 1mm thick. If you experience difficulties with the hacked slot walls in the handle not fusing properly together, try having your printer over-extrude slightly by telling it to use a slightly smaller diameter filament, adjusting the extrusion multiplier, or increasing the flow rate after the bottom solid layers are completed.
