Found I had frequent dust jams and other dust filters proved too difficult to mount properly on this system, so I designed a new one. Things I did differently compared to other dust filters I saw in the past: No need for longer screws or 1.75mm filament axels. I added a locking mechanism to prevent unwanted opening due to filament travel (a few had similar mechanisms but didn't fit or were too hard to open). I replaced holes with mounting slots, making it more versatile and easier to adjust. Current version: v3 I made it slightly more sturdy than before. Version: V2 My experience so far (over a year of use): It was a bit flimsy if handled roughly, and the hinges were prone to cracking if assembled too carelessly. Since installation, I haven't had any further dust jams. The lid never opened during printing without someone touching it. After a year of use, the housing cracked but still works fine. Things to change in future updates: Decrease size so that the angle or position can be adjusted more easily (the current angle is suitable for me, but may not work for others).
