Dustbuster on a STICK
thingiverse
Hi all, Ever dream of turning your dustbuster into a versatile cleaning tool that can reach tight spaces and function as an upright vacuum? Well, we've got just the thing for you! Here's a game-changing hack: simply head to your local dollar store and pick up a standard home broom with a removable handle. Then, download this clever design and transform that broom stick into a super useful accessory. I've created two versions of the attachment - one using a zip tie and another featuring velcro. And don't worry if you're not sure about the fit; you can easily scale the model to 110% or even 90% to ensure a perfect match with your chosen broom stick. Printing tips: - Use CTC Bizer (a reliable clone of Makerbot) for optimal results. - Choose Hatchbox PLA black for its durability and vibrant color. - Set your hotend temperature to 200c and build plate to 60c. - Opt for a 25% infill setting for a sturdy yet lightweight print. - Activate active part cooling after layer 3 for a smoother finish. - If you want cleaner holes for ziptie or strap, consider using supports; I didn't need them, but they're an option. - No raft is required for this design, and Simplify 3d software will guide you through the process with ease.
