Dust shoe for Ø65 router
thingiverse
A highly effective dust shoe for Ø65 routers, similar to Makita RT0700 series and Katsu 101748, is now available. Since these air-cooled routers blow air towards the workpiece, dust spreads throughout the workshop. This dust shoe has been designed with air reflectors (the two pipes on the side) to direct air to one side. Vacuum hose connection: 41mm (OD), 35mm (ID) The dust shoe was created by Norwegian Creators and modified as follows: * The dust shoe was split into two parts, making it possible to change tools without removing the entire dust shoe. * "Pockets" were added for 5mmx3mm magnets. * Some corners on the bottom part were rounded off to allow the skirt to easily follow its contours. * Branding was also included on top. The following hardware is required: * M3 bolt, 25mm and nut * Eight 5mmx3mm strong-type magnets * Material for a skirt * Glue Creative Commons License This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Updates: August 23: It took some time to print, but I noticed that the dust shoe needs an additional bolt on the lower part where the two deflector pipes exit from the center split. This can be fixed by drilling through it and adding a bolt. The model will be updated this weekend.
