Dust shoe for Stepcraft CNC with Kress

The Kress 1050 FME-P features the ER-16 Collet system, which means the clamp nut has a diameter of 25mm instead of the standard 18mm on the regular Kress. This significant difference renders my previous dust shoe obsolete due to insufficient clearance. The challenge now is to design a flexible solution for various spindles, equivalent to different clamping nut sizes. I want this new adaptation to be versatile and effective across multiple configurations. After some drawing and printing, I have created the following components: • Part 1 is a mounting plate compatible with all diameters of clamping nuts. It's secured to the tool-holder plate using the existing hole in the plate and an additional clip on the side to prevent rotation. • Part 2 is a washer to hold the mounting plate in place. • Part 3 is an adapter ring for different nut sizes and brushes, which is attached to the clamping ring by five strong magnets. • Part 4 is a brush ring, created using self-made materials with an additional utility ring to fill it with brush hairs. The complete brush is then glued to the adapter ring using CA-glue. • Part 5 is a filling utility ring for the brush. After filling and gluing, this ring can be removed. • Part 6 is a hose guidance clamp, although not essential, it helps absorb stress from the vacuum hose. Parts 3, 4, and 5 need to be produced for every spindle size and/or clamping nut in use. Amend 1: For users placing the Kress directly on the toolholder plate, I've made a crucial adjustment. When the Kress is placed directly on the plate, its bottom protrudes 12mm below the plate, sealing the dust shoe. To correct this issue, I created a spacer ring with a height of 12mm to match the underside of the plate. - Part 7: Spacer ring (height 12mm, infill 50%) P.S.
