Dust shoe for 52mm or 55mm spindle

I'm fed up with wearing a mask in my garage every time I mill something with my 3018 CNC. So, I decided to create a dust shoe for it that's easy to make and can be used right away. The design is straightforward - just a few pieces that can be milled using the 3018 CNC itself or 3D printed. One part of the dust shoe attaches to the spindle using pre-threaded holes (M4). The bottom part is removable, making it simple to install once all preparations for the milling job are complete. My first version had a hose too far away from the bit and poor suction that struggled to pull up dust from parts. I improved upon this by creating a second version with airflow focused around the bit, significantly boosting efficiency. This upgrade will make your 3018 CNC much more enjoyable to work with in your machine shop. You'll have cleaner air to breathe, making it easier to stay safe and healthy while working on projects.
