I design a straightforward visual indicator to monitor dust levels in my cyclone collector, preventing overfilling. The design employs #6 1/2" bolts and washers with locknuts on the inside for added security. Constructed from 1/16" acrylic, it's a simple and effective solution. I cut out a hole using the frame as a guide within the dust bin, then drilled out all necessary holes. To ensure a tight seal, I applied a small amount of silicone around the window before bolting it in place. The bolts are slightly over-tightened for added security, allowing some flexibility to accommodate the curved shape of the bin. A STEP file is included for any modifications that may be required.
