Dust extractor for Dewalt 707 mitre saw

This is an adapter designed specifically for connecting your vacuum cleaner hose directly to your Dewalt 707 mitre saw. While it may fit other models, modifying the design in Freecad makes it easily adaptable to a wide range of saws. The vacuum hose fitting is based on a conical pipe with a precise diameter of 34 to 36 mm over a length of 50 mm. This design can be easily adjusted. A locking pin and a slot for a piece of metal that protrudes just below the dust outlet on the saw are also included in this adapter. I printed this adapter using PLA with a fill rate of 15%, but I anticipate it may break if subjected to rough handling in the workshop. Using more fill, and ABS material which is known for its durability, might provide a safer option. Remember to print with the circular section facing downwards. The locking pin is a standalone object that needs to be selected together with the main part in Freecad in order to include everything in the STL file.
