Dust Deputy Vacuum Mount

These are hose adapters and mounting hardware I designed specifically for my Dust Deputy / Rigid shop vac combination system. The legs are constructed from 1 1/2-inch PVC plumbing, which provides a sturdy base for the entire setup. By using "T" fittings instead of elbows, users can easily build on top of the legs or store items like the 1-1/4 inch floor wand within them. To assemble these adapters and hardware, simply print all the hose adapters from your preferred filament material and glue them together securely. Print the leg clamps in your chosen filament and use TPU for the clamp bands before assembling everything according to the provided instructions. The hinge pin of the clamp lock lever features a 1.8mm hole that allows you to reinforce it with a piece of filament, which may require reaming. To prepare the buckets, cut off the bottom portion of one bucket evenly with the bottom of the second bucket when it's placed inside it. This cut-off section can be repurposed as an ideal tray for soaking and cleaning saw blades that become gummed up. Assemble everything as shown in the provided image. If the bucket lid is not rigid enough, you may need to add additional reinforcement to prevent the vacuum from collapsing it into the bucket. Attaching the printed end caps to the cut-down bucket using large head rivets will secure everything solidly together. Shining a small flashlight through the back of the tube can help spot the rivet holes in the bucket more easily. The hose connecting the vacuum and Dust Deputy is a 2-1/2 inch flexible dust collection hose that screws onto the printed elbows without needing any clamps.
