This is an adapter for the input side of the Dust Deputy DIY to a 2" vacuum hose (2.25" OD on vacuum hose). It includes cut-outs so that a hose clamp can be used to fix it to the Dust Deputy, and it fits deep onto the Dust Deputy input (which is a 2 step part, it snugs onto both).
