This is a versatile adapter designed specifically to connect a Shop Vac hose to a Dust Deputy. The hose in question boasts an outside diameter of 1 and 7/8 inches, making it compatible with this custom adapter. By printing the provided STL file diagram, users can create their own version of this essential accessory. The bottom portion of the adapter measures 30 mm and features a small taper that perfectly fits the corresponding taper within the Dust Deputy. This secure connection ensures a tight seal and optimal performance. On the other hand, the top section is designed to accommodate the Shop Vac hose with a diameter of 40 mm. For an airtight seal, it's recommended to apply a generous amount of silicone to the hose end before inserting it into the adapter.
