Dust Cyclone Stabilizer
prusaprinters

Object description:

This assembly stabilizes a cyclone and protects it from breaking off from the collection container due to too much pull on the suction hose.

Comments:

Don't be fooled by the attached photo. All the dust on the cyclone comes from outside. The photo was taken after a few days in hard use in a very dusty environment.

The cyclone has an efficiency of almost 100%. This means that almost everything ends up in the dust container and the filter in the vacuum cleaner stays clean for a long time.

Assembly instruction:

Melt the thread inserts into the base flange

Screw the feets with the countersunk screws on the ribs

Move the ring over the cyclone

Apply silicone between base flange and the cyclone

Put the cyclone on the base flange

Screw the pre-assembled ribs with M4x12mm socket head screws on the base flange

Move the ring down over the pins of the ribs

Apply silicone between base flange and the dust collector

Screw the stabilizer with M5x20mm,M5 washers and M5 Nuts on the cover of your dust collector

In the base flange, rib and ring are slots that you can fix the parts together with zip ties, if you want.
