Polycarbonate milling requires a solution for dealing with gritty swarf; 1/16" bits often create plastic pucks that damage work surfaces. An attachment was built to apply suction next to the head on the mill, shown in photos and an MP4 clip (cutting 3 mm polycarbonate at 10,500 rpm). The fixture holding the sheet is version 2 of a laser-cut design posted on Thingiverse. To use the vacuum attachment, print, clean, install, and click it into the T-slot on the mill head. A 2" internal diameter hose from the shop vacuum slides in and friction-fits. The mesh may have flaws but does not impact printing quality; solvent may be needed for FDM prints. Stress concentrates around the T-slot mount.
