Dust Collection Blast Gate Brackets

Dust Collection Blast Gate Brackets

This project was sparked by Bob at I Like to Make Stuff's innovative approach to creating projects on his YouTube channel. One project that caught my attention was the automation of a dust collection system using an Arduino to control servos, which would open and close blast gates with precision. The servo is strategically mounted to the blast gates using custom-designed brackets. I followed Bob's design closely to create a 3D printable version of these brackets. The original source for this project can be found on Bob's website at iliketomakestuff.com. The custom brackets include a left side mount, right side mount, and an actuator arm, specifically designed to fit a standard 4-inch blast gate. These brackets were carefully designed using Fusion360 software, with F3D and STL files included for easy printing.
