Its 1948, the war isn't over, with the Cthulhu threat becoming worse by the day the British Allied forces can't afford to leave even a single walker inactive, thusly the Toad ARV was put into use to great effect with its arguably over engineered hydraulic arms able to lift even the mighty A39 Tortoise for field repairs.
