Durher "Ironfist" Dyn
cults3d
Introducing Durhear Ironfist, a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. This dwarf warrior and blacksmith is not your average hero, armed with a runic breastplate that holds magical powers. His stone-hard arms and fists of iron are made for smashing enemies into oblivion. The model has been thoroughly tested in various sizes using PLA filament on my Flashforge Finder. I've printed at 0.15mm layer height, 60-70mm/sec speed, and 215-220C extruder temperature. A 25-30% infill is recommended, as lower infill rates can lead to structural issues. As a huge fan of wargaming and RPG board games, I've designed Durhear with versatility in mind. He can be printed at smaller sizes without losing too much detail, thanks to his solid, recognizable shapes and strong pose. The smithy setting adds an extra layer of depth to the character, showcasing his connection to his craft. I've also taken care to minimize supports by sculpting Durhear's right hand into a fist, giving him a sturdy stance on both legs, and holding a hammer on an anvil with his left hand that acts as a natural support. Durhear's physical features are awe-inspiring – his hands resemble those of a seasoned blacksmith, rough and calloused from years of working with hot metal. His arms bulge with muscles honed by years of bending steel to their will. In combat, Durhear wears only one piece of armor: the runic breastplate passed down through generations of Dyn warriors. Believed to hold magical powers, this ancient relic has been a symbol of strength and resilience for centuries. Some even claim that the soul of Asmund still resides within its metal heart. "He charged across the battlefield like a boulder crashing down a mountain slope," Elear Windsong described. "His movements were fluid, like a rushing river, and destructive, like thunder. He wielded no weapons, yet shattered every bone in his path." Even the most formidable foes – like the giant ogre he faced – couldn't withstand Durhear's unyielding assault. Asmund Dyn, the first to wear the Runic Armor of Dyn, was a legendary hero who slew the orc battle-chieftain Hraggor Fireskin. Durhear Ironfist embodies his spirit, standing tall against all comers with an unwavering gaze that says: "Don't dare stand in my way."
