Albrecht Durer's iconic design takes on a new dimension, literally. The 3D solid from his masterpiece Melencolia has been reimagined in stunning detail. A regular heptagon serves as the foundation for generating the 2D diamond that forms the basis of this intricate polyhedra. What's fascinating about this design is that all its vertices converge at the surface of a sphere, creating a seamless and harmonious shape. When viewed from above, the top surface reveals a perfectly symmetrical hexagonal pattern.
