The newer Tundra's are shipping with defective struts for the elevators, and they're utterly worthless. So, I've created some custom fittings that should do a much better job of resolving the issue. If you didn't receive the subpar struts, they're 3x1mm profile and 110mm long. To fix the problem, use 1.8x10mm screws for the tail section, and carve a notch into the chamfer on the underside of the elevator, securing it with hot glue or foam-compatible adhesive. You may also want to bond the carbon fibers into the sockets. This design is my original creation, so be sure to tag me on Instagram or give me credit if you decide to use it. I've uploaded the 123design file as well, allowing you to modify it if you can't source carbon fibers with the same profile. Hang in there, folks!
