Durafly Slowpoke Battery Tray
thingiverse
This is a battery tray I designed specifically for the Durafly Slowpoke. The battery's position right up into the nose cone can make securing it quite challenging. The raised area at the front fits snugly in place, and you simply attach a small piece of velcro under the tab at the rear, located beneath the cable tie loop as shown in the picture. Be cautious not to insert a long strip of mating velcro all the way into the fuse; this can cause it to catch onto the battery straps, resulting in a frustrating removal process. Instead, use just enough velcro to match the size of the piece on the tray. This design accommodates both 3S and 4S 2200mAh packs. To enhance balance if needed, you can hot glue two small lead sinkers to the front of the battery tray. This design works effectively and greatly simplifies the process. I'd be delighted for you to replicate this design and share your results by adding it to my "makes" section. If you're involved in RC models (as I assume, given your interest in this design), please visit my webstore at www.rcdc.net.au to explore potential business opportunities that would be greatly appreciated.
