Durable freestyle 3d printable quadcopter frame
thingiverse
Very robust and long-lasting 3D printed quadcopter frame. It can withstand harsh impacts! The frame safeguards all electronics inside, so you can fly through dense branches without any issues. The strength-to-weight ratio is adjustable by tweaking printer settings (wall thickness, etc.). This allows you to optimize the frame's performance for your specific needs. Assembling the quadcopter is a breeze, thanks to its simple design. A dedicated camera mount and variable tilt feature (Predator Mini) make it easy to get started, and there's no need for supports. However, there are built-in support structures in the design - just remove them from the motor mount screw holes. You can choose from various options, including frames with or without an integrated cooling fan holder (30x30mm). Additionally, there are two leg designs available: one with a square cable channel and another with an elliptical shape. To ensure optimal performance and durability, make sure to use motor mount screws suitable for 4mm thick frames. For best results, also consider using washers on bolts, and double-check the screw length before assembly to avoid damaging the motors. Recommended components include 5-inch props, 4-in-1 ESCs, a mini camera, a 30x30 FC board, 22xx-size motors, and a VTX with a power output of 25-200mw.
