I purchased a budget-friendly crimping tool for crimping Dupont style wires, which I found to be somewhat challenging. To simplify the process, I designed an adapter and attached it to my pliers with a strong adhesive. Now, I simply insert the plug into the adapter, connect the cable, and press down on the plug using the crimp tool. Following this step, I typically use needle-nosed pliers to apply pressure directly above where the copper wire is seated, as the crimp tool does not effectively secure it. I opted to print this adapter with the square base resting on the print bed and supporting the rectangular section.
