Y-Axis Idler for Duplicator i3: A Drill-Free Solution Note 1: This model was successfully printed using support structures. Note 2: To ensure proper installation, raise the printer slightly by adjusting the Z-braces. Note 3: Be prepared to use a longer bolt than usual to secure this design. Note 4: After testing, I've noticed that the carriage may occasionally hit the mount when in its forwardmost position. I'll attempt to refine the design to address this issue. Installation Instructions: 1. Carefully remove the front section of the frame from the printer. 2. Slide the idler assembly onto the frame, making sure it's properly seated. 3. Secure the screws to hold the assembly in place. 4. Attach the belt and idler mechanism. 5. Reattach the front part of the frame to complete the installation.
