Duplicator i3 feet: Foam Remix
thingiverse
I made some minor adjustments to the ninjaflexV4 feet for my wanhao duplicator i3, giving them a slightly shallower pocket that can easily accommodate a thin layer of foam I had lying around instead of printing a custom ninjaflex plug. I also tweaked the screw design by widening it 2% for better grip on the mount. The foam I used is roughly 9mm thick or about 0.3 inches, and to keep it in place, I applied a small drop of superglue - although this might have been an unnecessary step. I printed these modifications using PLA at 200 degrees Celsius with a layer thickness of 0.15mm. Currently, I have six of them installed.
