Duplicator i3 fan blower adapter

I needed a blower fan for my i3, so I tried some ring type adapters. Unfortunately, they were huge and blocked my view of the print bed when in use. The setup was also super frustrating because they required additional hardware to hold them in place. To solve this problem, I designed an adapter that lets you bolt a standard blower fan onto your existing i3 mounting system without any hassle. This simple design only requires one extra nut and bolt, utilizing the original hardware for a secure fit. The blower fan can be ordered from Digikey within 1-2 business days. The adapter allows printing directly against the fan blade since it is not too close to the edge, making it perfect for PLA material. Here are the print settings I used: Rafts: Not needed Supports: Not necessary Resolution: Set to 0.25mm layer thickness Infill: Printed with a 50% infill ratio Additional notes: Face down printing is recommended. I printed this using four perimeter layers and six top and bottom layers.
