I built this custom door lift hinge for my Wanhao Duplicator 4S because I got fed up with having to flip open the door constantly. Now, the door stays open effortlessly without clips or any other obstructions. And even keeps the door shut securely without needing a latch. The door no longer shakes or rattles. Swivel blocks and arms snap together seamlessly (no screws required). You'll need to remove the face of your printer (Wanhao Duplicator 4S) to drill holes for mounting the swivel blocks to the front of the printer. This is because the holes are located where the metal frame is. Door stops fit perfectly in the original hinge holes, preventing the top from sagging inward. I relocated the handle to the middle for a more balanced lift on the door. This custom hinge was designed specifically for the Wanhao Duplicator 4S but should work with any printer that has a door.
