I crafted this clever door lift hinge for my trusty Wanhao Duplicator 4S because I'd grown weary of repeatedly flipping open the door...\nnow the door stays reliably open without clips or other cumbersome fasteners.\nAnd even keeps the door securely closed, with no need for a traditional latch!\nNot only that, but the door doesn't budge, so to speak - there's virtually zero shaking action involved now..\nThe clever design enables swivel blocks and arms to snap together seamlessly, minus the requirement of screws!\nHowever, be prepared to remove the faceplate of your printer (specifically my trusty Wanhao Duplicator 4S) to drill holes for mounting those ingenious swivel blocks at the front of the device.\nIt's worth noting that the primary reason for stripping away the front cover is the strategic placement of these precise holes, located precisely where the metal framework lies hidden beneath.\nThe newly crafted door stops should be situated in the very same places as the original hinge attachments to ensure the top half doesn't cave inward.\nAnd by relocating the handle to a more central position on this ingenious lift system, you'll experience an altogether smoother operation with improved balance for your door's elevation!\nPlease note that this brilliant solution was initially tailored for the Wanhao Duplicator 4S - but don't be surprised if it also seamlessly integrates into other printer designs boasting a removable door mechanism.
