Looking for a cute and cuddly calibration test? Look no further, because this cat has already left the bag. At only 2.4mm in height, it will put your modem speed, processing power, software options, hardware selection, and filament choices to the ultimate stress test, as well as push your patience to its limits. It all began with a seemingly harmless attempt to convert an avatar .jpg into an .stl. I used a very high-resolution image, which should have been no problem at all - or so I thought. This mischievous little kitty takes only a few minutes to download and will crash most slicing programs and render scaling options useless unless you're armed with at least 16mb of ram. And look what it did to my spool of filament! So, with a brand-new laptop and MatterControl in hand, I was finally able to get a plaque to print. This is the beginning of a project to bring Duplicat to life and into the form of a toy as I learn to master modeling software.
