Try This Dropbox Link: [DOWNLOAD](go.ec3d.design/the-igniis-quadrant-free-stuff)** I'm currently running a Kickstarter campaign for a sci-fi/cyberpunk project (linked above), and I wanted to create some sci-fi versions of DungeonSticks. If you're not familiar with what a DungeonStick is, check out the section at the bottom. This first official set uses my new [v3 templates](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4213657), where the connectors are flipped and can be used for round or starlink designs depending on your needs/preference. I designed this release to be intentionally simple, as sci-fi can be complex and detailed. However, I aimed for fast printing, faster painting, and getting them onto the table quickly. There's nice detailing in the doors for visual interest, but the walls are a basic design with some lighting elements. I'll create more complex sci-fi walls in the future. For the new v3 style DungeonSticks, you print a wall/door/etc, then attach whichever end pieces you want (starlink, round, couplers, etc) and combine them. You can glue the ends if you want them to be permanent or leave them unglued for flexibility. This set includes: * Large (3") door * Small (1") door * Straight wall sections (1", 2", 3", 4") * Wall end * Adjustable wall (for those weird angles/rooms) * End couplers (starlink female, round female, male, straight pin, and various couplers) If you're a sci-fi or cyberpunk gamer looking for cool table stuff, check out [The Ignis Quadrant](https://go.ec3d.design/ignis-quadrant-prelaunch). ----------- ### What's a DungeonStick? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/1rjOFw4_2XE" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> Tile sets have their limitations, but for organic caverns, they're unruly and hard to use. I developed DungeonSticks - a "2.5d" terrain system built of walls and entrances to build out your caverns on top of a battle map/mat, table, etc. The focus is on quick/easy setup, portability, player visibility, and easy printing/painting. The connection system uses a simple drop-in rotating joint that requires no additional clips or fastening mechanism, allowing the walls to move to fit organic shapes. My goals for this system are: * Faster and easier than complete tile sets to print, paint, and setup * Reusable, flexible, and combinable with minimal teardown/setup * Easy storage, transportation, and stacking when not in use * Create a 3rd dimension effect without full floors/walls (by leveraging short walls and full-height doors, columns, etc) * Offer nearly-zero visual impairment or sight blocking for players on the table * Not sacrifice design/aesthetics, but make the pieces beautiful for players to look at and full of detail without overcomplicating painting * Harken back to an old-school "runehammer-esque" feel when used on the table ----------- #### Printing Notes All pieces are designed to be printed best @ 1.2-.2mm layer height, but larger layers should work OK and keep peg/locking system in tact. They require little or no infill (10% or so) but I personally like 20-30% for a little weight. No supports are needed for any of the pieces.
