Dungeon Terrain: Lever and Cage (Dice jail)
thingiverse
A lever and cage, both crafted at a precise scale of 28mm. The cage will comfortably encase most medium creatures that stand on a 1-inch base or smaller, although if they possess appendages that extend beyond their foundation, it's likely they'll become entangled. This versatile cage can also serve as a dice prison, necessitating a print at 89% scale to ensure a snug fit; however, the standard size will still suffice. No sane adventurer would dare pull a lever in the midst of a dungeon chamber, would they? What could possibly be the outcome of such an impulsive action? Perhaps a hidden door will swing open, revealing a treasure trove? Or maybe a rusty iron cage will plummet from the ceiling, ensnaring the reckless lever-puller? The example terrain was printed on an Ender 3 and coated with Citadel paints. The final cage design is actually 10% larger than the printed prototype due to its slight undersizing, which made it difficult to accommodate creatures with a 1-inch base.
