Dungeon Sticks with OpenLOCK
thingiverse
These are openLOCK connectable free form dungeon tiles that showcase texture and versatility through a variety of inter-connectable designs. The openLOCK clips can be downloaded for free from this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2343306. I've painted these to bring them to life as dungeon pieces, but they can also be used with their textured surface as dense shrubbery, offering endless possibilities. One unique feature of these tiles is the pivot mechanism that allows for rotation of over 320 degrees on the fly, enabling users to connect walls and rotate designs to create desired bends. The pieces are held together securely, allowing users to place them in a new location with one move and then rotate about the pivots to create a variety of rooms and passages without drawing or erasing borders. If needed, users can also adjust their dungeon design by moving a few pieces with the clips still attached, achieving a slightly different layout. The stone golem or rock monster is another design available on Thingiverse, accessible through this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3104637. These designs are optimized to not require supports, although users may need to remove the support material in clip locations for easy assembly. As always, my designs are free and come with no strings attached. If you appreciate my work, please show your gratitude by liking it – this is my only form of payment, and it lets me know that my designs are making a difference!
