I Modelled a Dungeon Door with a Baked Normal Map from Scratch To start, I created a detailed model of the dungeon door using only its basic shapes. Then, I unwrapped the mesh to prepare it for texturing. Next, I duplicated the low-poly model and upgraded it to a high-poly version, adding intricate details that would make the normal map really pop. After that, I baked the high-poly model into a normal map, which would allow me to add depth and realism to the door without having to actually create all those intricate details.
