Updated 2/19/17 Ever like the unique designs of FlatMinis, but also want more customization options? Want a mix of both worlds? Look no further! Inspired by GrumpyRobot's FlatMinis and DutchMogul's Dungeon Doll system, Trixster_98 brings you a fresh take on the classic Dungeon Doll. This handy Town Guard Captain comes with a sword, embossed shield, pants with curved boots, an embossed shirt with pauldrons, plain head, and a simple base. I printed mine at 200% scale (Red) and the base stands 56 mm tall. You can also print at 150% scale (Grey), which results in a base height of 42 mm. Fully customizable and modular, expect more designs to come soon. These designs are fully compatible with DutchMogul's original Dungeon Dolls, but not with FlatMinis. Made using Tinkercad, printed in Red at my local library and Grey on my Monoprice MP Select Mini. The remixed and improved version of my 2014 work that was initially unprintable and abandoned shortly after inception. note The shield comes in four different varieties, two of which are included here. Find more embossed shields and chest accessories here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2073640 Printing Print the pieces at 150-200% depending on your printer's accuracy. My printer can make all details clearly visible at 100%, but needs a print size of 150% to fit together well. The picture shows the three sizes of 200%, 150%, and 100%. Preparation For proper fitting, you need to lightly sand the pieces with a set of needle files. The heads require very minor sanding in the eye holes. My first layer is always slightly off, which requires work in that one spot. The studs attaching to the shirt and pants need light sanding, but the holes should be fine depending on your printer's accuracy. The shirt stud typically needs a small amount of sanding compared to the pant studs. The bottom fitting onto the base will likely require sanding on both the hole and stud depending on accuracy. Always test fit pieces together as you sand. I'm not responsible for ruined pieces due to excessive sanding.
