Dungeon Dolls: Tome Wizard

Ever like the unique designs of FlatMinis, but crave more customization options? Inspired by GrumpyRobot's FlatMinis and DutchMogul's Dungeon Doll system, Trixster_98 presents a fresh take on the classic Dungeon Doll. This handy Wizard comes equipped with a book, staff crafted from a discarded stick, robe featuring a medallion, plain head, and a cape base that can be customized to your liking or replaced with a plain base. I printed my design at 200% (in Red) resulting in a base height of 56 mm. You can also print at 150% (Grey), which yields a base height of 42 mm. These designs are fully compatible with DutchMogul's original Dungeon Dolls, but not with FlatMinis. Created using Tinkercad, my red model was printed at the library and my grey model on my Monoprice MP Select Mini. This remixed and improved version is a reboot of my 2014 design that was initially unprintable and abandoned shortly after its inception. Printing Tips: Print the pieces at 150-200% depending on your printer's accuracy. My printer can produce clear details at 100%, but needs to be set to 150% for optimal fitment. A visual representation of the three sizes - 200%, 150%, and 100% - is shown in a picture. Preparation: For seamless fitment, lightly sand each piece with needle files. The heads require minimal sanding, specifically in the eye holes. My first layer often needs adjustment, which necessitates sanding in that one spot. The studs attaching to the shirt and pants need slight sanding; however, the holes should remain intact, depending on your printer's accuracy. The shirt stud typically requires less sanding compared to the pant studs. The bottom piece fitting onto the base will likely require sanding on both the hole and stud, contingent upon accuracy. Always test fit pieces together as you sand. I am not liable for damaged pieces resulting from excessive sanding. Note: The handholes on the cloak necessitate considerable sanding; nonetheless, it remains a quick process with good files. I am working to rectify this issue.
