Dungeon Blox Doors Pack

Dungeon Blox Doors Pack

cults3d

This Doors Pack is part of the Dungeon Blox project. To be useful, it requires other blocks, especially wall blocks. A good point to start is the Dungeon Blox Starter Pack. The Doors Pack includes 47 models (each in .stl and .obj format, making for 94 files) and adds a treasure well of different doors to make your dungeon unique. It is also the first expansion pack I got ready to publish. Some of the doors come in two variants, with an "a" resp. "b" at the end of the file name (e.g. "DoorRectMagic1a.stl" and "DoorMagic1b.stl"). In these cases, the doors are not symetrical regarding their front and backside, so you can't just flip them over if you want the hinges on the other side. So, to give you both options, b is the mirror version of a. This is especially teh case with the "magic" doors, as the stud makes back/front symmetry impossible. In all these cases, the a and b versions are not explecitely listed here, there's only one entry for each door, given the file name without the a or b. Rectangular Doors DoorRectWood1 = the generic wooden door as in the Starter Pack DoorRectWood1Cl = the generic wooden door, old style as in the first version of the Starter Pack (Cl stnds for "classic") DoorRectWoodSimple1 = a more humble variant of wooden door DoorRectWoodSimple2 = an even more humble door DoorRectWoodWin1 = with window DoorRectWoodWin1Glass = with window, prepard to insert 0.2mm foil as glass DoorRectWoodWin1Inl = The inlay for the aforementioned door. You would put a rectangular piece of trasparent foil into the indentiation of the door, then insert the inlay over the foil (and glue it in place). DoorRectWoodWC = an archetypical toilet door DoorRectBars1 = a door of bars, as in a vintage prison DoorRectPorticullusOp = a sliding grate, open DoorRectPorticulusCl = a similar sliding grate, but closed In contrast to the "normal" swinging doors, it is impossible (or would at least be very complilcatd), to make a truly openable mechanic for this, so the user can just exchange the open and closed versions (as was the case for most classical dungeon crawler board games, anyway) DoorRectIron1 = with middle bar DoorRectIron2 = w/o middle bar DoorRectIron3 = with window DoorRectIron4 = with prison window DoorRectIron5 = with opening wheel, as with a save DoorRectPlain1 = a flat and plain rectangular door DoorRectPlain2 = a flat and plain rectangular door, with lock DoorRectCass = semi-modern wooden door with cassette panels DoorRectSF = a science fiction style door "Magic Doors" (doors with studs) These doors have a construction toy stud on them, one of the little "knobs" that construction toy blocks have to put them together. Originally intended to fix a gargoyle face on the door, which could ask a riddle before letting the heroes pass, hence the name "Magic Door". Can of course also be used for courts of arms, memo notes, room numbers and any other thing that can be found on a door. DoorRectMagic1 = a plain door with a stud DoorRectMagic2 = same as above, but without handle (it is locked magically, remember) DoorRectMagic3 = plain door with stud, but with "magical" inscriptions on it (the first who can tell where I took these scripture, gets the Starter Pack and Doors Pack for free) (it's not that difficult). DoorRectMagic4 = a wooden magic door DoorRectMagic5 = a wooden magic door, with the old, more abstract style of the wood pattern. Arched Doors DoorArchWood1 DoorArchWoodCl (Cl stands for Classic) DoorArchIron1 = Sturdy steel door DoorArchIron2 = with middle bar DoorArchIron3 = made of bars DoorArchIron4 = with window (Why is the door with middle bar No 1 with the rectangular doors and No 2 with the arched doors? - because the middle bar looks more "natural" than the plain door for the rectangular form, whereas for the arched doors, it's just opposite. Subjective? Yes). Frames DoorFrameRect1 = the plain door frame as in the Starter Pack DoorFrameRect2 = a more structured door frame with posts and lintel DoorFrameRectStone = a rectangular door frame of visible stone blocks DoorFrameRectBrick = a rectangular door frame of bricks DoorFrameRectWood = a rectangular door frame with visible wood structure DoorFrameRectStone5 = a door frame of visible stone blocks, five studs wide with the door proper making up three studs in the center, to make more room for a better sculpt of the door posts. DoorFrameRectBrick5 = as above, but built of bricks DoorFrameArchStone = an arched door frame, stone pattern DoorFrameArchBrick = an arched door frame, brick pattern DoorFrameArchStone5 = an arched door frame of visible stone blocks, five studs wide with the door proper making up three studs in the center, to make more room for a better sculpt of the door posts. DoorFrameArchBrick5 = as above, but built of bricks doorFrameDouble1 = a rectangular door frame six studs wide for a double door with two leaves. **Door hangers These are objects that can be fixed to the stud of a "magic door" (see above). Though "door-hangers" in the given context, they are more genarally wall-hangers, as they of course can as well be used to decorate any wall. Wall blocks with studs will be privided in future packs. WallHangGarg = a gargoyle face to ask the magic riddle. WallHangNote = a memo note pinned to the door. WallHangSign = a sign at the door Other Wall hangers will be included in a future Wall Hanger Pack, some of which may also be fitting for a door (magic or else), for example: WallHangFace = a stylized human face, could be a ghost, a petrified person or an alien. WallHangGorg = a gorgon face as often seen on doors or walls in roman art. WallHangClFc = a "classical" wall face as in roman or renaissance art, a variant of the Gorgon. WallHangSkull = well, a skull face WallHangArw = an arrow sticking in the wall / door WallHangCoA1 = a coat of arms, plain form WallHangCoA2 = a coat of arms, artful form WallHangLock = a lock WallHangHook = a hook, as a cloth hanger WallHangKeys = a set of keys hanging on a hook WallHangCloth = a hanging coat WallHangTargt = a dartboard
