The human body is a complex machine that relies heavily on a delicate balance of systems to function properly. This process is made possible by the heart, which pumps blood throughout the body via a network of blood vessels. Furthermore, the respiratory system allows us to breathe in oxygen from the air we inhale and expel carbon dioxide through exhalation. The digestive system breaks down food into nutrients that are absorbed into the bloodstream, providing energy for the body's various functions. Lastly, the immune system protects us from foreign invaders such as bacteria and viruses by producing antibodies that recognize and attack these pathogens.
