Duneyrs are guardians of the Ljosalfar domains. In some situations the Duneyrs need to go beyond their borders. For this they count on Snow lynxes trained as hunting mounts. This name literally means, "One who walks gracefully on the branches", as they spend much of their patrolling time walking through the treetops of the forest. They are trained in the use of bow and arrow and tend to avoid being seen as much as possible. The Duneyrs are also responsible for Idun Apple Tree security. The Ljosalfars are an ancient and warrior people, bestowed by the gods Frey and Idun with a secret city, situated in the forest of Snowdom, and shrouded in mists.
