Dune - Pain Box

The Pain Box is my reimagining of the David Lynch Dune movie prop. It features a door that swings between locked and unlocked states, controlled by neodymium magnets. Elastic bands secure the handle in place when not in use, but give way to release the door from its closed position. In the original design, the opening mechanism was intended to utilize a spring, which never materialized. I haven't addressed this function, leaving it for you to reimagine and recreate as you see fit.
