DUNE: Imperium - 3D Upgrade pack These upgrades are for use with the boardgame "Dune: Imperium". This package includes Player Aids and Stations for Draw and Discard decks, Character Card Holder and Agents-, Armies- and Resource trays. It also includes an assembly/station for the Imperium Row, 3D Barracks & Battlefield setups for 2-6 players (yes, you read it right, more than 4 players), a High Council Tray and Conflict- and Intrigue Card Trays. All card trays are designed to be big enough to be used with card sleeves. You can find a video of this build over on YouTube: https://youtu.be/jZtkkLvdBzs For a complete setup you will need the following pieces: Per Player 1x Character Tray 1x Resource Tray 2x Deck Trays 1x Armies & High Council Tray 1x Banners & Agents Tray For the Gameboard 5x Imperium Row Card Holders 1x Imperium Row Deck Holder Up to 3x Imperium Row Static Cards Holders - For your "The Spice Must Flow", "Arrakis Liaison" and "Foldspace" cards, -or- alternatively just 3x Deck Trays extra for those. 1x High Council Center Piece 1x High Council Seat Piece per player 1x Conflict Area Ring 1x Barracks per player (maximum 6) 2x Intrigue and Conflict Cards Trays 1x Current Conflict Card Holder -and- 2x Conflict Cards Holder Pylons -or- 1x Conflict Card Undercarriage, depending on your design and display preference. Token Bonus 1x or more Agent Restriction Token - Use this to place on any Board Space where Agent movement has been restricted by "The Voice" or similar cards. Rare Earth Magnet Slots All pieces have either 10x1mm or 10x2mm rare earth magnet inserts so they can become magnetically interlocked and reorganized at will. I recommend using 2 pcs of 10x1mm (or, of course, just one 10x2mm if you have) rare earth magnets in the 10x2mm sockets as this provides better rigidity for those specific parts. Conflict Area Ring and Barracks The Conflict Area Ring has a total of 8 slots for rare earth magnets. They are placed so they can be flexibly used with 2, 3, 4 and 6 evenly spaced Barracks. How can you be more than 4 players in this game? Although each box have contents enough for only 4 players, we have found that it can be played with up to 6 players as well. Simply share the contents of another box with a friend! You basically only need to bring in the 10 starter cards for each player and the playing pieces, although you need to repaint two of the playing pieces sets into two new colours or, alternatively, 3D print brand new ones. 5 and 6 player games are an amazing challenge but the board can get crowded pretty fast. To mitigate this we have settled with one simple house rule: After all players have put 2 agents on the board you are eligible to play agents on board spaces that already contain an enemy agent but not on board spaces that contain two. This opens up for a whole new area of tactics. For example, if you would play only 1 agent and then reveal, you are effectively blocking ALL other players from "double placing" for the entire turn. Nothing bad that doesn't bring anything good too, right? ;-) Support my Designs! A lot of time and effort has been put into these designs so please consider leaving a tip if you find these useful. :-) Thanks, good luck and have fun! Fuzzie
