Dundee Howff north (36,500 photos, vert-colored)
sketchfab
The Howff (Sketchfab page: @DundeeHowff) is a historic burial ground situated right in the heart of Dundee's city centre. I recently spent several days conducting field tests on a cutting-edge prototype rapid-capture multi-camera Raspberry Pi rig that I had designed and built myself. The testing took place at The Howff, where my prototype captured an impressive 185,000 photos across multiple sessions. For a detailed account of the capture process, please visit my website: https://danielmuirhead3d.art/2020/09/16/howff-pi/. This file is a composite of several merged 'blocks' - for example, block 05. Cameras location screenshot: The initial goal was to achieve a 100k photo file, but unfortunately, without access to a supercomputer, there are only so many steps that can be taken in one week.
