Dundas-Jafine 4" Dryer Vent Cover Spacer

I was installing a gas dryer in my home, and I had to vent it outside through a hole that was just big enough for the metal vent. However, the plastic vent cover wouldn't fit, so instead of cutting the hole bigger, I designed and 3D printed a spacer that allowed me to attach the vent cover securely. The vent itself is 4 inches in diameter, while the outdoor vent cover measures 4 1/16" across. This particular brand, Dundas-Jafine, is extremely common at Home Hardware and Home Depot stores throughout Canada. Using Fusion 360, I created this spacer with cost-effectiveness in mind - it would only weigh around 40 grams and require minimal material (20% infill). At the same time, I made sure it could withstand the harsh outdoor conditions and frequent temperature fluctuations from the dryer. One important thing to remember is that after installation, you should seal around the spacer with caulking to prevent water from entering.
