The streets of 1940s Los Angeles were a breeding ground for scum, and none more so than Henry Arneson's right-hand man, a hulking mass of muscle and menace known as Victor Mateo. But it was his protégé, the smooth-talking, wisecracking, and altogether too charming Dumpster, who had really caught the attention of Detective Cole Phelps. This wasn't just any ordinary street punk; Dumpster was a master thief with a silver tongue and an ear for getting out of tight spots. With a quick wit and a quicker draw, he'd been running his own crew, pulling off daring heists and leaving the cops scratching their heads in frustration. That was until Cole Phelps decided to take a closer look, and suddenly Dumpster found himself on the wrong side of the law.
