Dummy Security Camera

Dummy Security Camera

I've scoured Thingiverse for a realistic security camera to place in front of my apartment, but couldn't find one that fit my needs. So, I decided to design my own dummy camera. The camera lens inside is actually a wide-angle LED lens available on the market. Even without it, the cam will look very convincing. There are four holes for 3mm LEDs that can be used to mimic IR lighting LEDs found in real cameras. The interior space is empty, so you can install a circuit to flash them or add anything else you like. In fact, you could even fit a small wireless camera inside, making my design a fully functional security cam instead of just a dummy. I've also added a dummy wireless antenna on top for extra realism. To make the cam more versatile, I incorporated an additional part designed by Cooasty, which allows it to be easily maneuvered.
