This is an aftermarket quick release for a Trimble R10 RTK head. It serves as a replacement for the base station quick release, allowing a genuine quick release to be used on a second rover mount. The design features a standard 5/8x11 tripod thread, commonly found in OEM quick releases. Its symmetrical keying is intentionally non-matching, ensuring that it can rotate 180 degrees if needed, unlike the original part. If your printer is precisely calibrated, the model should match the original height of 50mm to the shoulder exactly. However, my printer added a slight extra millimeter to this measurement.
