Dummy Radial Engine
thingiverse
A highly detailed radial engine designed from the Veron Hawker Tomtit kit's plastic model. This engine is specifically crafted to fit snugly within the cowling, showcasing meticulous attention to detail. A "hub" attachment system may also be developed to secure all the cylinders in place. The exact scale of this creation remains uncertain due to its photographic origins; however, adjustments can be made as needed to achieve a precise representation. Each cylinder boasts an impressive weight of 13 grams when built at 100% scale, mirroring the dimensions captured in the photograph. For added realism, small diameter tubing could be employed for push rods. Nevertheless, custom-designed 3D printable push rods will be developed to further enhance the engine's authenticity.
