Dummy Power Motor
thingiverse
I built Ettena's version of an Oliver Cletrac OC3 (thing:4875535) but since I wasn't going to power it I printed a couple of dummy 'Power Motors' to support the rear axles. For the axles themselves I used lengths of 6mm threaded rod with a nyloc nut on the inboard end (allows adjustment of the end float and retains the axle). I printed a spacer to give clearance between the rear sprocket and the body (include a metal washer between the sprocket and the spacer). I used the same bearings as in the front rollers in the dummy motors. You may need to grind out a little of the bearing socket to give clearance for the bearings - they should be a snug fit. If I remember correctly I used some 3mm screws to mount the motors to the body.
