just a silly little sketch, 5.5" long model of a hypothetical lifting body hypersonic aeroshell. Note that the slope on the bottom toward the rear of the fuselage would cause a significant expansion fan and low pressure zone thus cause the craft to pitch up and tumble unless you generate significant lift on the winglets lmao i just thought it looked better like that, i'd love to see someone try to make this fly tho disclaimer that i only do boundary layer research, i've never worked with full-up systems so this is about as good as a doodle in the margin of lecture notes
