Dummy displays are created for assembly purposes. I frequently build cases or assemblies using 7-segment displays and measure them to ensure a proper fit. To avoid any issues, I've decided to design a dummy display that can be used in place of the actual display during assembly. The included design accommodates 1 to 5 digits. While it would be ideal to make it customizable, the current version should suffice for most users.
