Dumb 120mm PC Fan Holder

<p>A dumb 120mm fan holder with some tilting freedom.</p> <p>It snaps together in three parts</p> <ul> <li>Fan base</li> <li>Base cylinder</li> <li>Stand</li> </ul> <p>The fan base and cylinder snap together and are optionally held together by</p> <p>glue. The cylinder is the most fragile as its little legs have to take the</p> <p>torsion, however the amount of torque required depends on how much you scale</p> <p>(or file down) the cylinder itself, or the base.</p> <p>A mockup of a fan is included in the blender file.</p> <p>Blender and STL files are included.</p> <h3>Post-Printing</h3> <p>The cylinder and base have not been adjusted with any printer tolerance, and so it is likely that the cylinder won't fit once printed. I personally decided to file it down with sandpaper to make sure the fit was quite snug, but you could always scale the model on your own.</p> <p>The fan base however has two models, where one has its holes adjusted for some tolerance.</p> Category: Hobby
